Enhancements and New Features
QuickBooks Online Interface
Food Connex users will now be able to integrate with QuickBooks Online as well QuickBooks Desktop (Pro, Premiere, and Enterprise).
Pound UOM Label Capabilities Added
Food Connex will now recognize pound (LB) as a unit of measure option in the UPC / GTIN table. When a pound label is scanned the quantity and weight will be set equal to the weight indicated in the barcode with a minimum of 1 each if each breaking is not available on the item.
Valuation Inquiry and Historical Tracking
Starting with the January 8th release a record of the posted inventory value will be visible to users through the valuation inquiry.
To enable add the secured resource:
Queries > Inventory > Inventory Value Inquiry
Clicking the Search Options button will display all valid items, the current posted stock value, quantity in billing unit of measure, and the average cost.
Clicking a line item will drill down to display posted transactions that affect the posted stock or value and any impact on the average cost.
