Food Connex Cloud offers a number of Function Key Shortcuts to speed data entry. On a traditional keyboard these keys are located at the top and are numbered F1 through F12.
The F1 key toggles the onscreen help option between show help messages in a bubble, dock help messages at the bottom of the screen, and hide help messages completely.
The F5 key is used to list or lookup file contents relevant to a particular field. For example, if the cursor is positioned at the Salesman field of the Order Entry Heading screen, and you press F5, the program will display a list of the salespersons contained in the salesperson file. If you press F5 when the cursor is positioned at the Tax Code field of that same screen, the program will list the tax codes that are defined in the Tax Code file.
The F6 Key invokes the Price Look Up window to allow for a quick search of items, to view pricing and stock information.
Pressing F8 will delete or clear the information in the field where the cursor is positioned.
Pressing the Tab key will move the cursor to the next field.
Pressing Shift+Tab will move the cursor back to the previous field.
The Enter key is used to commit lines or changes throughout the system.
